Based out of Bristol, VA, Momma Molasses brings a uniquely timeless sound that blends Americana, Old-Time, Alt-Country, and Piedmont Blues. With a rolling contralto voice that has been compared to Patsy Cline and early Janis Joplin, she captivates audiences with songs that are “smothered in good old-fashioned folk sentiment.”
Expect an intimate evening of warm, finger-picked guitar, heartfelt storytelling, and a genre-bending musical recipe that mixes Southern Appalachia with 1940s Country Swing. Whether she’s crooning a ballad or getting rowdy with a honky-tonk tune, Momma Molasses delivers a performance that feels like home.
